About Me
I was born in Varanasi, a city woven with history, culture, spirituality, and the timeless beauty of Banarasi craftsmanship. Although I was born there, I grew up in Mumbai—a city that shaped much of who I am today.
My journey has taken me through many different chapters. I studied Pharmacy in Mumbai and went on to build a successful corporate career. Later, life took me to Rajasthan after marriage, and I was blessed with the most beautiful chapter of my life—becoming a mother to my little girl.
But somewhere along the way, as my daughter grew and became more independent, I felt a small gap within myself. I wanted to create something of my own. Something that was personal. Something that I could build with love, passion, and purpose.
And I kept coming back to something I had always loved—Banarasi sarees.
There has always been something incredibly special about wearing a Banarasi saree for me. Perhaps it is because my roots are connected to Varanasi, or perhaps it is the magic of the intricate weaving, rich zari, timeless motifs, and generations of craftsmanship behind every piece.
But while exploring this passion more deeply, I also realized something that deeply concerned me.
Today, the true beauty and identity of Banarasi sarees are slowly getting lost in a crowded market. Many sarees are sold under the name Banarasi without transparency about where or how they are made. Beautiful traditional designs and techniques are often imitated, while customers can easily be confused or misled about what they are buying.
That is where the idea of Kashi Vogue began.
Kashi Vogue is my attempt to create a space for people who genuinely love the beauty of Banarasi craftsmanship and want to make informed choices. I want to share sarees that celebrate the artistry, techniques, and timeless designs associated with Banaras—while being honest and transparent about every product we offer.
This is not just a business for me.
It is a connection to my birthplace, my love for sarees, my desire to build something of my own, and my hope to contribute, in my own small way, to keeping the appreciation for Banarasi craftsmanship alive.
As a woman, a mother, and someone starting a new journey, Kashi Vogue is deeply personal to me. Every saree, every collection, and every step forward carries a little piece of my story.
I hope that when you wear a Kashi Vogue saree, you don’t just see its beauty—you feel the heritage, craftsmanship, love, and story woven into it.
From the city where my story began, to every woman who chooses to make a saree part of hers—welcome to Kashi Vogue.
